Primo Associates Launch Party with Beatson Cancer Charity!

On Friday 28th April, armed with Beaufort in bulk (courtesy of cheese guru George Mewes), cans of Drygate’s malty marvels and of course our donation box; we welcomed fine folks from all corners of our business hemisphere to celebrate the launch of our partnership with Beatson Cancer Charity.

Having recently visited the Beatson and witnessed first hand the countless facilities and treatment that the charity provides for cancer patients and their families, including the fantastic Wellbeing Centre, we felt that we wanted to contribute to their outstanding work and provide support for a charity whose tireless efforts bring hope to so many people across Scotland.

So Primo Associates Directors John and Tony donned their thinking caps and rustled up a foolproof plan of support for the coming year. Along with backing from our exceptional clan of clients, we are creating a client charter, through which we will donate a percentage of the fee from each permanent position that we place to the Beatson as a sum quarterly or bi-annually. We anticipate that these donations will aid the fight against cancer, and enhance the already remarkable work carried out by Beatson Cancer Charity.

So you can imagine how thrilled we were to finally gather together with colleagues and clients and throw a fiesta to mark the beginning of our partnership with Beatson Cancer Charity as our charity of the year. Corporate Partnerships Manager Joyce Ross also joined the festivities and met with our clients, showering them with Beatson tote bags and badges and providing information on exciting ways to fundraise and volunteer, from walks and cycle challenges to Arctic treks, voyages to the Himalayas and even sky diving.

Amidst the Beatson chat, we had the chance to relax and network with talented people, enjoy beer and cheese tastings from hoppy heroes Drygate and guzzle down a Daiquiri (or two) with an expert mixologist.

Since our launch party proved to be a massive success, (and was even requested by guests to be run as a monthly event) we’re eager to create more events over the coming year to extend our client contacts and ultimately raise awareness and funds for Beatson Cancer Charity.
